One of our goals for Xurros with social media has been to create a space for us to connect with our audience and the local community. We want to hear their thoughts and feedback while personalizing the brand and showing them who we are.

Meet the Owners

The Meet the Owners campaign was one of the ways we worked to connect with our audience. Many of our initial followers know the owners personally and we wanted to introduce them to those who didn’t. Reminding people there are real people behind the brand is important and we wanted our audience to feel comfortable with the people they would be seeing at the truck every day.

Giveaways

We’ve launched several giveaways to spread awareness about Xurros and give back to our loyal customers. The second giveaway shown was a partnership between us and another local food truck. This allowed us to reach even more people in the community and support a fellow local business.

Polls

Engaging content is important to Xurros; instead of constantly trying to sell to our audience, we focus on creating engaging content and offering our audience the opportunity to give us feedback. We’ve done this by featuring several polls on our stories and this strategy has resulted in continuous high engagement across all posts.
